He's always wanted to improve the game and help cricketers: Kohli comes out in support of Jaitley

New Delhi: Indian Test team captain Virat Kohli today came out strongly in support of Finance Minister and former DDCA President Arun Jaitley, who has been accused by AAP of turning a blind eye to the alleged financial irregularities during his tenure as head of the cricket body.
Jaitley, who headed DDCA for 13 years till 2013, has been accused of not acting on the alleged corrupt activities in the DDCA during his tenure. The AAP government in Delhi has demanded that Jaitley should resign or be "removed" from the union cabinet to enable an independent probe.

"Grateful to have @arunjaitley ji as the president of our association . He has always wanted to improve the game & help cricketers in everyway," Kohli tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Kohli's former India team-mates Gambhir and Sehwag had also supported Jaitley, saying that he had done a lot of good things for Delhi cricket and for the players.
