Number crunching: South Africa's record-breaking defiance, India's biggest win
Led by brilliant bowling from Ravichandran Ashwin, India registered a 337-run victory over South Africa in the fourth and final Test at the Feroz Shah Kotla, in Delhi, on Monday.
Needing a mammoth 481 for victory, South Africa's ultra-defensive approach lasted just 143.1 overs before they were dismissed for 143, the last five wickets falling for a mere seven runs in a dramatic collapse after tea on the last day of the match.
