Ravichandran Ashwin promises personal help to Chennai flood victims

Ravichandran Ashwin was named man-of-the-series after taking 31 wickets in India's 3-0 series win over South Africa.
Ravichandran Ashwin, who was named man-of-the-series for his 31 wickets in the four-Test rubber against South Africa, said he would personally go down to his home town Chennai and help its flood-affected citizens after incessant rain ravaged the Tamil Nadu capital.
Even as Ajinkya Rahane, man-of-the-match for his twin hundreds in India's 337-run win over the Proteas at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla, dedicated the victory to the people of Chennai and the Indian Army, Ashwin made no reference to the natural calamity in his native city.
Later, the off-spinner tweeted to say that "happiness had got the better" of him and he dedicated his series award to the "suffering people" of Chennai
