Santosh to ride Dakar again

         

C.S. Santosh, who last year became the only Indian to participate and complete the Dakar Rally, will hope for a repeat at this year’s edition which will be held from January 3 to 16 in Argentina.

The departure ramp at Buenos Aires will see a total of 152 moto riders.

The rally will run over a total distance of over 9,000 km of which over 4,500 will mark the 13 competitive stages (to be run against the clock).

Also, making things tougher will be two marathon stages in which no outside mechanical assistance will be allowed at the end of the day.
