According to the media reports, South African coach Gary Kirsten has been approached by Board of Cricket Control for India to take up a second spell as the coach for Team India.Speaking to Mumbai Mirror Gary Kirsten revealed the information. He has received a few phone calls from BCCI, but he said he was not in the position to take a decision at that time. Kirsten, however, has not ruled out the possibility of taking up the job again. "You can never rule anything out in life. See what the situation is. I never say yes or never say no, it's difficult."
Gary Kirsten took the baton from Greg Chappel and was coaching Team India from 2088 to 2011. After the departure of Duncan Fletcher, BCCI is now in search of a full-time coach. Meanwhile, Ravi Shastri is working with the team in the capacity of Team Director.
